The Congress Global Solidarity Summer School takes place in the Carlton Hotel, Galway, on the 2nd and 3rd September 2011.
As always, this year we have a very packed and interesting schedule on the theme of "Climate change and Decent Work" starting at lunchtime on Friday and finishing up at lunchtime on Saturday. We have a very diverse and expert group of speakers both from home and abroad and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get your questions answered.
The summer school is a great way to get together with a group of trade unionists to learn more about the trade union perspective on climate change and how it might be combined with Decent work conditions. It also offers a great chance to catch up with colleagues, discuss urgent global issues and share union experiences.
