Diploma in Business Studies/Bachelor of Business Studies in partnership with UCD
The Bachelor of Business Studies is a four-year, part-time Degree programme, combining learning with occasional weekend attendance. On successful completion of the first two years of the programme, students are awarded a Diploma in Business Studies and the honours degree is awarded on successful completion of the final two years. It is specially tailor-made for adult and second chance learners. There are a total of twelve days of attendance at classes in the UCD Quinn School and they are scheduled in two-day blocks, Fridays and Saturdays. A range of support structures are in place to assist students who are returning to
study and to facilitate part-time study. These include:
- Personal Tutor providing study guidance and support on a day-to-day basis
- Return to Study Skills modules.
- Specially designed course materials, study plans and continuous assessment/feedback
Admission to the programme may be obtained on the basis of either (i) mature years (23 years) or (ii) on fulfilling the Matriculation (leaving certificate) requirements (21 years).
