International Labour Law Expert to Deliver Talk on Union Rights

Professor Keith Ewing, a leading international expert in labour law, will deliver a talk in Dublin tomorrow (April 29) as part of the 2011 May Day Festival.
Professor Ewing lectures at the King's College Law School, London, and has written extensively on public law and labour law, particularly on the need to strengthen trade union rights. He will deliver a talk on Trade Union Rights in Ireland and the EU in the TEEU head office, Gardiner Row, Dublin.
The talk will run from 12.30-2.30pm, Friday April 29. Advance booking is essential, at www.ictu.ie/mayday
The inaugural May Day Festival runs from April 28 to May 7 and will feature lectures, debates, music, poetry readings and a public demonstration on May 1. The May Day demonstration assembles in Parnell Square at 11.30am.
