The third in our series of Friday Briefings takes place on Friday 19 May and is on the theme of Responsible Business Behaviour.
The Government will publish 2 separate strategies in 2017: the 2nd national action plan on corporate social responsibility and the first Business and Human Rights action plan.
Come and hear from the Government Departments responsible about their relevance to trade unions.
Speakers to include:
Eadaoin Collins, Principal Officer, Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation with responsibility for the development and implementation of Ireland's second National Plan on Corporate Social Responsibility; and,
Martina Feeney, Director of the Human Rights Unit of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade - tasked with producing Ireland's first National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights.
