Athy Resource Centre

The Athy District Resource Centre as part of the Congress Centre Network was founded in 1980 due to high unemployment in Athy and surrounding areas.

Ballina Centre for the Unemployed

The Centre runs 1:1 computer training that is open to all members of the community. From September 2011 we will be offering an expanded range of courses and are taking input from the community on courses they would like to attend.

Belfast Resource Centre

The Belfast Unemployed Resource Centre (BURC) was set up in September 1984 and the premises were opened in 1985. It started as an advice centre and have evolved over the years.

Caherciveen Congress Information Centre

The Cahirciveen Centre was established in 1992, it provides an information/representation service for workers and their dependants, for unemployed, disabled, lone parents, elderly, employers and others requiring services.

Castlebar Centre for the Unemployed

The Centre runs 1:1 computer training that is open to all members of the community. We offer help in Job Seeking Skills such as CV & Interview preparation. We also offer a confidential rights advice service and Jobs Notice Board

Congress Employment Information Centre

Tralee Congress Information Centre was set up in 1991 and recently moved premises to Milk Market Lane in the town. The Photo’s show our Official Opening Day and the dignitaries who attended.

Congress Information and Opportunity Centre

The Clare Council of Trade Unions has overseen the operation of the Centre since 1991, with a particular focus on the provision of services for the Unemployed and the provision of training.

Congress Resource Centre Letterkenny

The Congress Cenre, Letterkenny, was opened im Movember 1995 and is part of the Congress Centres Network and is the only one in Donegal.

Cork Council of Trade Unions Employment Resource Centre

We wish to demonstrate to unemployed people, to employees and the public at large, our belief that the vast majority of unemployed people have the capacity and desire to take part in economic activity and so enjoy all the benefits that other people in society take for granted.
