Session 2 : Employment Rights

Motion 14 )

This conference calls for the trade union movement to work to ensure that the current recovery is one for workers, their families and their communities. Any gains from this recovery must be directed to those who bore the brunt of the last 10 years of cuts and austerity. The ICTU must lead the way in ensuring we use this opportunity to construct a society that’s fair, equitable and directs the states resources to those in need from those who can afford to pay.
