Photo of launch of GMR Report 27 Nov 2012Education for All is the global drive to achieve Millennium Development Goal Number 2 by 2015. The 2012 report focuses on “Youth and Skills”; how education must provide young people with a broad range of skills – not just information – to enable young people to access jobs, vocational training and further education.

The report was prepared by UNESCO and contains examples of how education systems are focusing on skills and vocational training, of which many of the examples are highly relevant to Ireland

More information on education and the MDGs can be found on UNESCO site.
