Public launch of Delivering Growth & Jobs: Funding a major new investment programme for Ireland

Austerity is not working and that there will be no recovery in Ireland without growth. As events across Europe now demonstrate, Growth is the Key.
The Irish Congress of Trade Unions has developed a new investment plan that can help kickstart this growth, that can help boost domestic demand and deliver new jobs.
Crucially, the Congress plan outlines how this major new stimulus can be funded, through use of a mixture of public, private and European funding sources. The plan also looks at how the investment funds might be targeted to achieve maximum impact and deliver a major boost to the economy.
