Decent Work for People with Disabilities - where to now?

Employment Strategies for people with disabilities are being prepared in both jurisdictions on the island of Ireland.  This year's seminar will hear an update on both and hear from both people with disabilities in employment and the companies employing them.  A draft programme for the seminar is available here and includes an address by Minister Aodhan O Riordain, fresh from recent launch of the Comprehensive Employment Strategy for people with disabilities.

The seminar is residential, involving one night’s accommodation (B&B) on Thursday 15th October in the Tower Hotel, Waterford. A number of rooms have been block booked in the name of ICTU.  Rooms must be booked directly by each union for their own delegation.Please quote ICTU when making any accommodation arrangements.  The phone number of the Tower Hotel Waterford is 051-862300. 

The fee per delegate (not including accommodation) is €70/50.  This covers seminar documentation, lunch and tea/coffee on both Thursday and Friday and a dinner on the Thursday evening.
