This workshop is designed to support safety reps and encourage union activists to undertake the role. It will provide information on the legal framework, the role of the HSA and introduce new resources that can assist reps in creating safer workplaces. Participants will explore ways in which the role can be further supported by and integrated with the trade union movement.
The day will be useful for trade union safety representatives, those who may be interested in becoming reps, organisers, activists and officials.
