Congress Friday Briefing - The Right to Disconnect
24 January 2020, 10:30 - 12:00
The first Friday Briefing of 2020 will focus on the Campaign for The Right to Disconnect and will be presented by Anne Marie Butler and Paul Dillon of the Financial Services Union (FSU).
The FSU has been running The Right to Disconnect Campaign seeking legislation in this area, and will detail the issues involved at the briefing. The 'always on' culture, where workers are expected to be contactable after the end of paid working hours is fast becoming a feature of working life. This contact is facilitated by technology and can have a negative impact on mental health.
Paul Dillon is the FSU Growth and Communications Manager, and Anne Marie Butler is a Digital Organiser with FSU.
We would be grateful if you would confirm your attendance at the Friday Briefing in advance by contacting Eileen Sweeney on firstname.lastname@example.org
